Lightning is a powerful force of nature and one to be cautious of. When it passes through a house it will often ‘branch’ and utilize more than one path to ground at a time. When lightning current travels through wires, it will commonly burn them up, presenting a fire ignition hazard anywhere along the affected circuits. The frequencies, created from thunderstorms and lightning, range from 7.83 Hz, called the Earth’s “heartbeat,” to 33.8 Hz.
Thankfully “A 70-year-old woman has escaped unharmed after two homes were partially destroyed by a lightning strike in Hampshire, with thunderstorms and heavy rain expected across the south of the UK this weekend. After several days of sunny skies and scorching temperatures, the Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning in southern England and Wales for Saturday and Sunday, advising that frequent lightning, thundery rain and strong winds are expected.”
Lightning was the main electromagnetic presence in the Earth’s atmosphere long before the invention of electricity. These electromagnetic fields (natural EMFs), the result of global lightning activity known as Schumann Resonances— are difficult to detect but scientists found it has positive properties too. The frequency 7.83 Hz has been called the Earth’s “heartbeat.”
